SANDBOX SEX - THE RULES
==========================
SL Community Standards & Behavioral Guidelines:
The Community Standards sets out six behaviors, the "Big Six”, which will result in suspension or, with repeated violations, expulsion from the Sex Estate Management group and banned from the sim.
Intolerance
Combating intolerance is a cornerstone of Second Life's Community Standards. Actions that marginalize, belittle, or defame individuals or groups inhibit the satisfying exchange of ideas and diminish the Second Life community as whole. The use of derogatory or demeaning language or images in reference to another Resident's race, ethnicity, gender, religion, or sexual orientation is never allowed in Second Life.
Harassment
Given the myriad capabilities of Second Life, harassment can take many forms. Communicating or behaving in a manner which is offensively coarse, intimidating or threatening, constitutes unwelcome sexual advances or requests for sexual favors, or is otherwise likely to cause annoyance or alarm is Harassment.
Assault
Most areas in Second Life are identified as Safe. Assault in Second Life means: shooting, pushing, or shoving another Resident in a Safe Area (see Global Standards below); creating or using scripted objects which singularly or persistently target another Resident in a manner which prevents their enjoyment of Second Life.
Disclosure
Residents are entitled to a reasonable level of privacy with regard to their Second Lives. Sharing personal information about a fellow Resident --including gender, religion, age, marital status, race, sexual preference, and real-world location beyond what is provided by the Resident in the First Life page of their Resident profile is a violation of that Resident's privacy. Remotely monitoring conversations, posting conversation logs, or sharing conversation logs without consent are all prohibited in Second Life and on the Second Life Forums.
Indecency
Second Life is an adult community, but mature material is not necessarily appropriate in all areas (see Global Standards below). Content, communication, or behavior which involves intense language or expletives, nudity or sexual content, the depiction of sex or violence, or anything else broadly offensive must be contained within private land in areas rated Mature (M). Names of Residents, objects, places and groups are broadly viewable in Second Life directories and on the Second Life website, and must adhere to PG guidelines.
Disturbing the Peace
Every Resident has a right to live their Second Life. Disrupting scheduled events, repeated transmission of undesired advertising content, the use of repetitive sounds, following or self-spawning items, or other objects that intentionally slow server performance or inhibit another Resident's ability to enjoy Second Life are examples of Disturbing the Peace.
SANDBOX SEX - ESTATE SPECIFIC RULES
==========================
The following rules are specific to the use of the Sandbox Sex sim, in addition to the SL community standards listed above.
1,000 Prims
A maximum limit of 1,000 prims per user is in effect at all times. This does not necessarily guarantee each user 1,000 prims. We currently have about 300 members, with a prim cap on the sim of 15,000 prims that would give each individual about 50 prims if we were to divide up the prim usage equally. That said, if we have an imminent need to free up prims, some or all of your prims may be returned to you, with or without notice.
Wipe it Clean
Sim wipes will/do occur in Sandbox Sex! Generally they will occur at the 1st of each month, however, situations may arise that require deviation from this schedule. We will try to give as much notice as possible prior to a wipe.
Merchants Beware
Selling within the Sandbox is NOT allowed. If you'd like to make private transactions with other members that is fine. By no means are you allowed to leave active vendors in Sex. If you wish to further your entrepreneurial goals, invest in some land and open your own store.
Lag and Those Who Birth It
Objects, scripts, or actions which broadly interferes with or disrupts sim performance in any form will NOT be tolerated. We will hold you responsible for any actions you take, or are taken by objects or scripts that belong to you. There are other places in SL you can go to make this sort of ruckus.
<NEW> WIP it Good!
When you're working on a project that will require you to leave prims behind when you leave or log off please use a Work In Progress sign. That lets the Admins and Officers know that you intend to continue working and your prims haven't simply been forgotten and left behind. We would like to keep the sim free of unneeded clutter.
WARNINGS, SUSPENSIONS, BANISHMENT
==========================
Violations of the SL Community Standards and Estate Specific Rules will first result in a Warning, followed by Temporary Suspension from the Sandbox and eventual Ejection/Banishment from the sim. Each disciplinary case will be addressed and dealt with in a manner deemed appropriate by the Estate and its Agents. Ignorance of the rule is not a valid excuse.
ESTATE DISCLAIMER
==========================
By applying for or accepting membership to the Sex Estate Management group you have agreed to follow the rules laid out by the Estate and the SL TOS. Membership may be revoked at any time at the discretion of the Estate, without warning or reason. Sex Estate Management is not responsible for the loss or damage to intellectual property during your time in the sandbox.
